Wintersday Mini Games - Guild Wars Forums

Hey, anyone know if Anet changes up the mini games during festivals? I thought I recall a festival that had a variety of mini games being offered that werent there before.

Would be nice to see some variety and options this wintersday, I swear they did this before throwing in some more games like beetleracing and whatnot into the mix. Any plans to do the same this year?

From previous years, the Dwayna vs Grenth Snowball Arena will most likely see a return, along with the tournament format of it. I doubt we would see new minigames pop up, since we already have those, but a new holiday quest series may come about.

Yeah I doubt there will be any new ones, what I meant was if there would be more old ones, so you can pick between things like snowball, beetleracing, 9 rings etc.

I think it was some summer festival where they just opened most of the mini games, giving you the option to choose between a few. I dont know if they still do this for all festivals now, or if it was a one time thing but it was a blast. Here's hoping.

Perhaps you are referring to the Dragon Festival, which takes place in July. 2008 and 2009 also had the Wintersday in July weekend events, so July has quite a few mini games.
